Attached is a letter dated December 2,1987 from the Texas Bureau of Rac'iation Cortrol (TRBC) 6sking for clarification on many aspects of regulating uranium mill teilings, source material, low-level waste, rare earth residues and other l
related topics.
We are reluctant to attempt to answer this inouiry in the abstract without identification end discussion of actual problem situations. We are considering holding a meeting in Region !Y with the eddressees listed above and representatives from the TBRC on March 17, 1908. We believe that many of the TBRC questions may also be of interest to Colorado and Washington and plan on inviting their attendance.
