Dear Ms. Schnelker:
This is in response to your letter of October 26, 1981 in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, copies of documents pertaining to the GA0 audit of the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant conducted between May 30 and June 10, 1977.
In a subsequent telephone conversation between Sarah N. Wigginton of ray staff and Dan Hirsch, the scope of your request was limited to those documents pertaining to the Diablo Canyon plant which were produced as a result of an agreement between the GA0 and the NRC, whereby the GA0 would apprise the NRC of any specific safety findings discovered in the seven nuclear plants studied.
Please find enclosed the seven documents listed on Appendix A.
In addition, a search is being conducted to determine if any documents currently in storage might be subject to your request. As soon as that search is completed, we will contact you.
