DOCKET NOS. 50-266 AND 50-301 STEAM GENERATOR SLEEVING REPAIR REPORT, REVISION 1 POINT BEACH NUCLEAR PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 By letter dated September 28, 1981, Wisconsin Electric Power Company, Licensee for the Point Beach Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2, transmitted to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission a " Point Beach Steam Generator Sleeving Report for Wisconsin Electric Power Company" (Sleeving Report) . This report presented a detailed discussion of the design criteria, process description, inspectability, ALARA concerns, and other considerations regarding the application of the steam generator tube sleeving process at the Point Beach Nuclear Plant. 1981 This report was submitted in support of Licensee's July 2, license amendment application for changes to the Technical Specifications which would permit repair of defective steam generator tubes by sleeving.

Enclosed with this letter is Revision 1 to the Sleeving Report. This revision includes the results of additional testing conducted to verify the strength and corrosion resis-tance of the sleeving material and to further establish the applicability of earlier testing of sleeve designs to the This f/hOf specific sleeve design for the Point Beach Nuclear Plant. 4 revision is a complete document and includes the information submitted with the original September 28 Sleeving Report; the / /0 September 28 version should be discarded and destroyed in a SidD g,,/, jd manner suitable for proprietary documents.
