The U. S. Huclear Regualtory Commission (the Commission) has issued Amendment Mo. I to Construction Pemit CPPR-114, issued to Virginia Electric and Power Company (applicant) for the North Anna Power Station, Unit 3 (the facility) located in Louisa County, Virginia. This amendment deletes three environmental conditions i
because these conditions imposed water quality requirements beyond those specified in the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Pemit. See Tennessee Valley Authority. ALAB-SIS, BURC702 (1978). The anend'ent is effective as of its date of issuance.
The application for the amendnent complies with the standards and requirements of the Atonic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Connission's regu-lations. The Connission has nade appropriate findings as required by the Act and j
the Commission's regulations in 10 CFR Chapter 1, which are set forth in the license amendments. Prior public notice of this amendnent was not required since the amendnent does not involve a significant hazards consideration.

The Commission has determined that the issuance of this amendnent will not result in any significant environmental inpact and that pursuant to 10 CFR 51.5(d)(4) an environmental inpact statenent, or negative declaration and environ-nental inpact appraisal need not be prepared in connection with issuance of this amendment.
