We have received a copy of your application dated November 23, 1981 which was filed with the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (0NRR) for review.
This application proposed certain changes relating to the inservice inspec-tion program for Beaver Valley Unit 1.
Although your application stated that a Class III fee ($4,000) pursuant to 10 CFR 170.22 was being remitted under separate cover, the fee has not been received by us. Based on infor-mation provided by the ONRR staff as the result of their preliminary review of your application, it has been determined that the Class III fee ($4,000) -
is appropriate since the review will involve consideration of a single safety issue.
By letter dated November 6,1981, your Company remitted $8,000.00 for Llass III fees for applications dated July 19.1981 (TS Change 64) and September 16.1981 (TS Change 67). We have been informed by the ONRR staff that a July 19, 1981 application iias not been filed with their office.
Ilowever, they have received a July 29, 1931 application (TS Change 64) for which a Class Il fee was remitted. Since the Class III fee for your Hovember 23,1981 application has not been paid, we are applying the Class III fee remitted for the July 19, 1931 application to your November 23, 1931 application. We hope you will find this transaction acceptable.
If the ONRR's final review of your November 23, 1981 application reveals that a Class III fee is not correct, you will be notified and any necessary adjust-ment will be made.
