Combined Inspection Nos. 50-317/81-20 and 50-318/81-19
This refers to the routine physical protection inspection conducted by Mr.
R.H. Ladun of this office on September 28-October 2,1981 of activities
authorized by NRC License Nos. DPR-53 and DPR-69 and to the discussions of
our findings held by Mr. Ladun with Mr. R.E. Denton and other members of
your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the Office of Inspection
and Enforcement Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter.
Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of
procedures and repre,entative records, interviews with personnel, and
observations by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no items of noncompliance were observed.
In accordance with 10 CFR 73.21 of the NRC's regulations, documentation of
security measures for the physical protection of special nuclear materials
and certain plant equipment vital to the safety of production or utilization
,
facilities are deemed to be Safeguards Information.
Each person who produces,
receives or acquires Safeguards Information is required to ensure that it
is protected against unauthorized discic,sure. Therefore, except for the
report cover sheet, the enclosure to this letter will not be placed in the
Public Document Room and will receive limited distribution pursuant to 10 CFR 73.21(c).
No reply to this letter is required; however, should you have any questions
concerning this inspection, we will be pleased to discuss them with you.
