V.C. Summer Nuclear Station Docket No. 50/395 NRC Generic Letter 81-04

Dear Mr. Denton:

By letter dated June 3, 1981, South Carolina Electric and Gas Company sub-mitted.its response to items a, b,_e, and g at NRC Generic Letter 81-04.. The response stated that "SCE&G will develop plant specific procedures based on the Westinghouse Owners Group (WOG) Loss-of All AC Power Guidelines as re-viewed by the NRC" and that said procedures will be implemented "within_ 60 days of receipt of the approved guidelin'es".

Please be. advised that SCE&G has not implemented the aforementioned.procc-dures,as NRC approval of WOG guidelines is yet to be achieved. Therefore, SCE&G proposes immediate implementation of the attached procedure, E0P-4,

" Station Blackout Operation", until such time-that approved' guidelines are received and considered.for incorporation.
