Dear Ms Dowling:
This letter is in response to your recent letter to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission regarding Vermont Yankee.
The Commission-has received several other communications about Vermont Yankee, including one from Ms. Virginia Callan and Mr. Cort Richardson of the Vermont Yankee Decommissioning Alliance dated November 27, 1980, which made requests similar to those contained in your letter.
Since all the concerns expressed in the various letters are summari:ed in l
the November 27, 1980 letter from from Ms. Ca'lan and Mr. Richardson, the Commission has decided to consolidate the various !atters into a request for action pursuant to 10 CFR Section 2.206 of the Commission's regulations.
The matter has been referred to me for decision.
A copy of my decision is enclosed for your information.
I share your concern for nuclear safety, and will continue to enforce the l
Commission's safety regulations.
