Thank you for your letter of August 31, 1981, informing us of steps you have
taken to correct the violation concerning activities under NRC Operating License
Nos. NPF-2 and NPF-8 brought to your attention in our letter of August 5,1981.
It is our understanding per a phone conversation between ifr. H. O. Thrash,
General Manager-Nuclear Generation and fir. V. L. Brownlee, Section Chief,
Projects Section 28, Division of Resident and Reactor Project Inspection, that a
supplemental letter will be forwarded to complete the response requirements as
specified in Appendix A of the inspection report. We will examine your
corrective actions and plans during subsequent inspections.
