confronting SRC as a result of being housed in ten different buildings in five different locations in Washington, D. C. and suburban }!ar91and.
As I loo,ked through Chaircan Ahearne's written testircony, I was disappointed to find that..
the availability of a single building for the NRC now appears to be at least six years away; some eleven years from the time this Co:mnittee and the Co=oission began vorking together on this problem.
I ac hopeful, however, that the SRC building situation can be significantly improved in the n ar-ter= with the implementation of an interim plan developed by the Of fice of Management and Budget.
It is my understanding that this interim plan (which would relocate half of the agency to the Matomic Building at 1717 H Street, N. V. and half to a single site in Bethesda, Maryland), has the support of each Coc-issioner and_is under review by' 03M's acu Director-m m
I intend to bring my. strong endersement of the interim plan to Mr. Stock =an's attention.
