Your letter of August 19, 1982 transmitted to Georgia Power Company (GPC) a draft Technical Evaluation Report (TER) which addressed the compliance of Plant Hatch Units 1 and 2 with certain aspects of N'JREG-0612.
GPC submits in response to that letter and subsequent discussions with the NRC staff and its consultants.
It is indicated in the Enclosure that Appendix B will be transmitted at a later date. This submittal is scheduled to be made by December 15, 1983.
As noted in our May 24, 1982 submittal, adequate procedures for the control of heavy load movement have been in effect at Plant Hatch.
- However, during the review of the TER, a number of procedural items which could be enhanced were found.
Procedure HNP-6977 has been developed to provide these procedural improvements, and has been referenced within the body of the enclosed report.
That procedure is expected to be implemented by September 15, 1983.
