This re: port was-initiated by Incident Report 81-324.

CONDITIONS PRIOR TO OCCURRENCE:'

On August 12,. 1981, during a routine surveillance, it was discovered.

that 2B1 battery. charger would not pick up the 28-volt d.c. electrical load. -At 0420 hours0.00486 days <br />0.117 hours <br />6.944444e-4 weeks <br />1.5981e-4 months <br />, 2B1 battery charger was declared inoperable, Land action statement 3.8.2.5 was entered.

This occurrence constituted operation in a degraded mode in accordance

with technical specification 6.9.1.9.b.

4 DESIGNATION OF APPARENT CAUSE OF OCCURRENCE:
