REACTOR PROTECTION SYSTEM (RPS) POWER IRIITORING SYSTEll' DESIGN MODIFICATION, MULTIPLANT ACTION NO. C-ll By letter dated December 4,1980, you advised us that you are planning to use an approved General Electric design for the subject modification and would not, therefore, be submitting design information per our request 24,1980. Since the evaluation of these design modifications of September is being conducted on a plant-specific basis, an appropriate submittal is required for Oyster Creek. to this letter identifies the Enclosure design information needed by the staff to complete its review.

We request that you provide within 60 days of your receipt of this letter your schedule for submission of the specified design information.

.s 1The following RPS Power Supply design modification information should be submitted for. po t-imple.nentation review:

1.
Detailed' drawings of the p'roposed design modification of the
. monitoring scheme for the-RPS power supplies-(MGs and alter-nate source). The drawings should include component ratings,1 and schematic and wiring diagrams.
Detailed relay ~information may be submitted in the form of the manufacturer's Technical Bulletin.
2.
A current revision of-the electrical one-line diagram of the on-site distribution system and a schematic / elementary diagram that includes the RPS power distribution buses.
3.
Justification that proposed time delays, if any, will not result in damage to RPS system components or affect the per-formance of required safety function.c.
4.
Justification that tha design modifications and components will meet the requirements of GDC 2 and GDC 21 of 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix A.
5.
Proposed Technical Specifications per the attached model.
