a. Removal / replacement. I
b. Disassembly / rebuild (e.g., removal of bonnet assembly, stem,  ;

etc.).  ;

c. Disconnection / removal of power operator (air or electric).
d. Limit switch adjustment.
e. Packing adjustment / replacement.  !
f. Disconnection of hydraulic or electrical lines to the power operator, i l g. Adjustment of torque settings. j

.6.2 The following are typical maintenance functions that require no post-maintenance testing of valves,

a. Removal / replacement of handwheel.

'b. Disconnection of electrical lines that provide valve position indication only.

l c. Valve stem lubrication. ,

6.3 Any maintenance activities that involve a temporary repair (e.g., '

injection of substance to stop leaks) must be reviewed by the ISI Specialist, prior to the work being performed, for determina-tion of ISI post maintenance criteria.

6.4 Any maintenance activities on valves that are included in the LLRT Program must be reviewed by the ISI Specialist, prior to the work being performed, for determination of LLRT criteria, ,

1. Valves That.Cannot. Be Exercised During Normal Plant Operation:

a) Name and identffication. number (component tag): BSV-1, Building Spray 1 Pump.lA suction check valve isolating BST-1 NaOH from "A" Train Decay c Heat Suction header; BSV-8, Building Spray Pump 1B suction check valve j' 3 isolating BST-1 NaOH from "B" Train Decay Heat Suction header.

b) Function: These valves are required to prevent _ backflow of NaOH into i the Decay Heat Pump suction headers. THis isolation is required as a result of the respective gate valves BSV-17 and BSV-16 being open, with power removed, during plant MODES 1 through 4. ,

I c) ASME Section III Code Class: 2 d) Valve Category: C II. Basis For Not Exercising Valves, in accordance with IWV-3521: In order to perform an inservice test to verify valve closure on BSV-1 or BSV-8 '

requires both:the "A" and "B" train Building Spray Systems to be open (using all manually operated valves) to the non-safety related recirculation line back to the BWST. Should this system lineup be in existence when Containment Spray is needed, there is reasonable doubt that i adequate flow would be obtained to the spray nozzles.  !

III. Testing Currently Being Performed: These valves shall be verified able to close during cold shutdowns.
