COMPLETION OF LONG. TERM ACTIONS REQUIRED BY NRC BULLETIN 88-04 FOR THE BROWNS FERRY NUCLEAR PLANT, UNIT 2 (TAC 69889)

By letter dated March 1,1989, from Suzanne Black (NRC) to Oliver Kingsley (TVA),

we informed you that your response to Bulletin 88 04, as provided in your letter dated September 30, 1988, was adequate for Browns Ferry, Unit 2.

Your response committed to completing the long-term resolution actions for Unit 2 prior to i

restart of that unit.

l Your letter dated August 2,1989 described the completion of the long-term actions required by Item 5 of NRC Bulletin 88-04 and, therefore, fulfills the reporting requirements of the bulletin for Browns Ferry, Unit 2.

This item is closed for the restart of Unit 2.
