Dear Mr. Stolz:

Florida Power Corporation s equested relief from certain ASME Section XI requirements by letter of October 6,1281. The requirements involve ultrasonic inspection of the reactor vessel ring forging to support skirt weld. A letter from your License Fee Management Branch was subsequently received by Florida Power Corporation indicating that our relief request was submitted without the appropriate fees pursuant to 10CFR170.22.

Therefore, we are hereby remitting the appropriate fee of four thousand dollars.

($f,000.00) as our request involves a single safety issue.
