Dear Mr. O'Reilly:

In accordance with Section 6.9.2 of the Technical Specifications for the H. B. Robinson Stesm Electric Plant, -Unit 2, the enclosed Licensee Event Report Revision is submitted. The original report, May 15, 1981, described six containment isolation valves which were not being tested in a manner which fully satisfied Technical Specification 4.4.2.a.

On May 10, 1981, while revising the Periodic Test which tests the containment isolation val /es, two additional valves were found to fali in the same category as the six valves already reported. This revision contains a complete descripti;n of the event.

New information is indicated by a vertical bar in the right hand nargin. This report, therefore, supercedes and should replace all copies of the original LER.

This report fulfills the requirements for a written report within thirty (30) days of a forth in reportable occurrence and is in accordance with the f armat set NUREO-0161, July, 197 7.
