NRC Management Meeting 50-293/81-09
This refers to the meeting held at the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station on March
11, 1981: related to our evaluation of activities authorized by NRC license No.
DPR-35. The subjects discussed and a list. of attendees at this meeting are
included in the Office of Inspection and Enforcement Meeting Report and the
Region I Evaluation Board Meeting Report, which are enclosed with this letter.
It is our view that this meeting was effective in communicating to you and your
staff the results of our evaluation of your performance of licensed activities,
which the Region I Board found acceptable. Also, we hope it provided you with a
better understanding of our inspection program and its objectives.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice"', Part 2, Title
10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter and the enclosures will
be placed in the NRC's Public 'bcument Room.
No reply to this letter is required; however, if you should have any questions
concerning this matter, we will be pleased to discuss them with you.
