September 29, 1980 letter from F. L. Clayton to R. L. Tedesco, subject: " Joseph M Farley Nuclear Plant - Unit 2 Engineered Safety Features Bypass, Override and Reset Circuits." This letter clarifies Alabama Power's September 8,1980 letter to modify the control circuits for the motor driven and turbine driven auxiliary feedwater pump discharge valves tv include a main control board reset capability.

This letter provides information regarding potential design deficiencies in bypass, override and reset circuits of engineered safety features.
