Dear Mr. Varga:

This is to confirm agreements reached on this date between you and Mr. W. G. Hairston III, Farley Nuclear Plant (FNP) Plant Manager, concerning operability of auxiliary feedwater flow control valves at Farley Nuclear Plant - Unit 1. _

We commit to:

1. Stroking (with visual verification at the valve) auxiliary feedwater flow control valves (FCV's) 3227A, 3227B, 3227C, 3228A, 3228B, and 3228C, as soon as possible and every twenty-four (24) hours thereafter.
2. Not conducting " equalizing charges" to Auxiliary Building batteries lA or 13.
3. Logging the DC bus lA and 1B voltages once per hour.
4. Immediately stroking the valves listed in item 1 above if battery voltage increases 10Vdc above normal levels.

These commitments will continue in affect until further discussions are held with you on July 14, 1980.
