Thank you for your letter, Reference 1, responding to the two items
of noncompliance provided to you by Reference 2.
Your written
response has been reviewed and was found to lack sufficient

information to permit our assessment of your corrective actions.
Accordingly, pursuant to Section 2.201 of the NRC's " Rules of
Practice", Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, you are
required to submit to this office, within twenty-five (25) days of
the date of this letter, a written statement or explanation addressing

'he following questions regarding Finding A (waste gas decay tanks)

and the overall vendor quality program:

What specific actions will be taken to correct the nonconforming

Your letter references a new program for vendor quality assurance.
What is the content of this new program?

from the program identified in the PSAR?

Your letter states that strong corrective actions have been
initiated to control and correct adverse trends. What are these

4.
Do you intend to take any action for other vendor supplied
equipment which has been received at the site? If so, please
