APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Virginia Electric and Power Company License Nos. NPF-4 North Anna, Units 1 and 2
& NPF-7 Based on the NRC inspection May 19-23, and June 2,1980, certain of your activities were apparently not conducted in full compliance with NRC requirements as indicated below. These items have been categorized as described in correspondence to you dated December 31, 1974.
As required by Appendix B, Environmental Technical Specification 5.5.1, detailed written procedures shall be prepared and followed for all activi-ties in carrying out Environmental Technical Specifications and the proce-dures shall include sampling.
Contrary to the above, Procedure H.P.- REMM-4, dated September 27, 1979, for milk sampling was inadequate in that the specified sample preservation technique was not compatible with the analytical procedure used for radio-iodine analysis of milk samples.
