Gentlemen:
Thank you for your letters of July 10 and July 17, 1980, informing us of steps
you have taken to correct the item of deviation concerning activities under NRC
Construction Permit Nos. CPPR-83 and CPPR-84 brought to your attention in our
letter of June 17, 1980.
The actions you have proposed for Items 1 and 4 appear satisfactory, but the
actions proposed for the remaining items do not appear to comply with previous
commitments to the Commission and are not consistent with the applicable National
Fire Protection Association Standards and Codas. Therefore, your comments have
been forwarded to our Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulations for further evaluation.
These items will remain outstanding pending the results of this evaluation.
