BEAVER VALLEY POWER STATION -- COMPLETION OF REVIEW 0F RESPf TO CENERIC LETTER 83-11, RADI ATION EMBRITTLEMENT OF VESSEL MATERI ALS (TAC 71462 end 71463) i By letter dated November 23, 1983 and October 8,1989, you responded to the subject generic letter which requires licensees to follow the guidance of Regulatory Guide 1.99, Revision 2, to calculate the nil-ductility reference temperature of reactor vessel beltline materials.
We have completed our review of your submittals and conclude that the proposed pressure / temperature limits for the reactor coolant systems for heatup, cooldown, leak test and criticality are acceptable and these limits may. be incorporated in the Technical Specifications of the units.
When you submit the amendment requests, please reference the approval conveyed by this letter (Enclosures 1 and 2).
This completes our efforts on the subject licensing actions.
