Gentlemen:
Thank you for your letter dated July 25, 1980 informing us of the steps you
have taken to correct the item which we brought to your attention in our
letter dated June 26, 1980.
Your response to the specific itea of noncompliance indicated that the final
inspection on the support had not been completed.
It is the considered
opinion of IE:RV that completion of a first line QC inspection on an
activity is necessary and sufficient to expect compliance with those
attributes considered by the QC inspection criteria. This position was
discussed with you during the meeting at the IE:RV office on August 12, 1980.
The implementation of your identified corrective actions will be verified
during a future inspection.
