The attached report of a routine unannounced inspection on May 16-19, 1972,
is forwarded for infor=ation. No ite=s of noncompliance were identified.
Areas of concern were identified involving the quality assurance progra=
associated with stea: generator repairs, control of isometric drawings,
and documentation of preoperational activities by the operations group.
The licensee agreed to take corrective action in each area to resolve our
concern. These co==itments were included in Region II correspondence with
the licensee and will be pursued during subsequent inspections.
Attached to this me=orandu: is an Outstanding Ite=s List containing
presently-identified ite=s which we believe =ust be resolved before core
leading of Unit 1.
