This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. A. D. Johnson of this office
on May 30-31, 1973, of activities authorized by AEC Construction Permit
,
No. CPPR-56 and to the discussion of our findings held with Mr. D. G. Raasch
and other members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
The inspection was an examination of activities related to your preoperational
O)
testing program, your meteorological data collection program and development
of procedures for combating emergency conditions or other significant events.

Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of
procedures and representative records, interviews with project personnel and
i
observations by the inspectors.
In addition, the action you have taken
with respect to the item brought to your attention in our letter dated
March 15, 1973, was examined. We have no further questions regarding
that item at this time.
No violations of AEC requirements were identified within the scope of this
inspection.

We have referred to our Headquartera, for further evaluation, the test
sequence you have established for conducting the structural and leakage rate
test of the containment building. We will inform you of the results of the
evaluation.
Attached to this letter is our inspection report.
In accordance with
Section 2.790 of the AEC's " Rules of Practice", Part 2, Titic 10, Code of
Federal Regulations, a copy of this 1ctter and the enclosed inspection
report will be placed in the AEC's Public Document Room. If this report
contains any information that you believe* to be proprietary, it is
