Dear Mr. Davis:
Your submittal " Report on Inward Bulges of Containment Liner Plate at Rancho Seco Nuclear Generating Station" dated June 6, 1972 has been reviewed and found acceptable. However, a requirement will be stipulated in the Technical Srsacifications to inspect the bulges two years after start of operation and every five years thereafter. The inspection should ascertain that the amplitude of the bulges is not increasing and that the liner bears against the concrete.
