Reference: Your letter dated November 9, 1979, in response to our letter dated
October 17, 1979.
lhank you for infonning us of the corrective and preventive actions you documented
in response to our correspondence.
However, your letter has been reviewed and
additional information is found to be needed.
In response to item A, you failed to include planned actions to prevent the
recurrence of this item of noncompliance and the date when suct, actions will be
completed.
With regard to item B, based on the additional information you provided in your
response, we withdraw the item of noncompliance at this time.
Instead, this
item will be considered unresolved until such time as we further review your
records, procedures and the specific circumstances involved in this situation.
In particular, we will review the existing provisions for radiological control
during transition periods of containment status.
Our records will be modified
to reflect this change.
Please respond to this office within seven (7) days of receipt of this letter a
written statement containing the requested information for item A.
