Dear Mr. Pollock:
This letter is sent to acknowledge receipt of your letter dated December 27, 1978, on behalf of the Critical Mass Energy Project.
You requested that the Commission revoke the construction permit for Wolt Creek Unit 1 until remedial action is taken by the licensee to correct alleged deficiencies in the quality assurance and quality control measures for the concrete in the reactor building.
You further requested that the construction permit be suspended as an enforcement sanction for an alleged delay by the licensee in reporting deficiencies ~
in concrete strength to the Commission.
You also raised questions about the capabilities of the Region IV inspection program.
Your request is being treated under 10 CFR 2.206 of the Commissicr':
regulations and is currently under consideration. We will inform you of our decision within a reasonable time.
