SUMMARY

Month: August, 1982 McGuire 1 entered the month limited to 50% power until further analysis of the steam generator tube condition could be completed.

August 9 the unit tripped when the loss of control power to ITA buss caused the 1A reactor coolant pump to trip.

The unit returned to service later the same day.

August 16 power was increased to 75%.

Up to 720 hours0.00833 days <br />0.2 hours <br />0.00119 weeks <br />2.7396e-4 months <br /> are permitted at this level prior to further inspection of the steam generator tubes.

This time is being utilized on weekdays with weekends at 50%.

The unit finished the month at 75% power.
