APPENDlX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Georgia Power Company License No. DPR-57 Based on the NRC inspection on January 8-11, 1979, certain of your activities were apparently not conducted in full compliance with NRC requirements as indicated below. These items have been categorized as described in correspondence to you dated December 31, 1974.
A.
As required by Technical Specifications 6.3.1, written procedures are required to be established and followed that meet the requirements of Sections 5.1 and 5.3 of ANSI N18.7-1972 and Appendix A of Regulatory Guide 1.33, November 1972.
Contrary to the above, written procedures were not followed:
a.
On January 3, 1979, when the unidentified leak rate in the drywell was not recalculated as required by procedure HNP 1-1500 within four hours after the unidentified leak rate was calculated to be greater than 1 GPM at 2330, January 2,1979.
b.
On Janaury 8, 1979, when the drywell was vanted twice using the post-accident venting line instead of : sing the equipment specified by procedure HNP 1-1500.
This is an infraction.
