APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Duke Power Company License No. CPPR-83 McGuire, Unit 1 Based on the NRC inspection February 21-23, 1979, certain of your activities were apparently not conducted in full compliance with NRC requirements as indicated below. These items have been categorized as described in correspondence to you dated December 31, 1974.
As required by Criterion V of Appendix B to 10 CFR 50 and implemented by Topical Report on Quality Assurance, Duke 1-A, work performed on safety-related items shall be accomplished in accordance with prescribed instructions, procedcres and drawings. Duke Power Company (DPC) drawing number MC 1785-09.01 specifies the termination points for the two conductors of cable 1*NC752 at flow transmitter INCFT 5050.
Contrary to the above, cable 1*NC752 was not terminated in accordance with DPC drawing MC 1785-09.01 at flow transmitter INCFT 5050.
The transmitter circuit had been released to DPC's Steam Production group.
This is a deficiency.
