APPENDIX A NOTICE OF DEVIATION Florida Power Corporation License No. DPR-72 Crystal River Based on the NRC inspection conducted on February 12-16, 1979, certain of your activities appear to deviate from your commitments to the Commission as indicated below:
In your letters dated May 9, 1978, and May 31, 1978, FPC made a commitment to modify three fire doors in order to comply with ANSI N45.2.9 requirements relating to permanent and temporary record storage vaults. Thia modification consisted of installation of fire doors with a Class "A", three-hour rating. This was to 1.e accomplished by September 30, 1978.
Contrary to the above, on February 15, 1979, the inspector determined that one newly installed door on the temporary storage vault still had a rating of one and one half hours. Additionally, the door in question was wedged fully open rendering it ineffective as a fire barrier. The vault was unattended at the time.
