Dear Mr. Reid:
Under separate cover, we are transmitting three (3) original and forty (40) conformed copies of an application for amendment to Facility Operating License No. NPF-3 for the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Unit No. 1.
This application requests that the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Unit No. 1 Technical Specifications be revised to reflect the changes attached. The prcposed amendment include organizational changes in Section 6 of Appendix A as well as Section 5 in Appendix B to be consistent with a recent reorganization of the Toledo Edison Company as described in our letter to Mr. H. R. Denton dated November 28,1979 (Serial No. 560).
This amendment request is administrative in nature and therefore a Class II amend-men t. You are requested to apply the $1,200.00 amendment fee required by 10CFR170 to Toledo Edison's credit identified in the NRC License Fee Management Chief's letter dated November 16, 1979.
The attachment identifies the proposed change, its safety evaluation and schedule required to implement the change af ter NRC approval. Toledo Edison regt.ests your immediate attention and expeditious review of this request. The organization described in this attachment was effective as of December 1,1979.
