Dear Mr. Denton:
To more ef fectively manage the Company resources and activities required
- o support the operation of the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, we are, effective December 1, 1979, consolidating all activities associated with our nuclear program under one corporate of ficer. This includes engineering, construction and quality assurance, as well as station operation.
The corporate officer heading this total nuclear activity will be Richard P. Crouse, Vice President, Nuclear.
In this capacity, he will be the individual responsible for formal corporate communications with your of fice instead of Lowell Roe who currently aerves in this capacity.
We have initiated the processing of a formal amendment request to the operating license, which will detail the organizational arrangement under Mr. Crouse.
This license amendment request will be submitted in the near future.
We are confident that this change will further enhance our capability to effectively manage our nuclear program.
