The Commission, by a vote of 3-0*, approved publishing the effective amendment to 10 CFR Part 50 contained in the subject paper in the Federal Register.

The Commission requested that:

the amendment be effective 30 days after publication in the Federal Peaister; 2.

a Revision 2 to Regulatory Guide 1.7 be issued; (SD)

SECY-78-508 - Kranish F0IA Aopeal 78-A-22 (C0flSENT CALENDAR ITEM)

The Commission, by a vote of 3-0*, approved the release of document 4 (see Attachment B, in response to F0IA-78-195), and affirmed the initial denial for documents 1 and 2 (the appeal concerning denial of document 3 is being handled by the Executive Director for Operations).

In so doing, the Commission reouested that a letter be dispatched to Mr. Kranish, over the signature of the Secretary, informing him of this action.
