Request for Five Year Rf:newal of Certificate of Compliance No. 9248 for SP-1, SP-2, and SP-3 Transportation Packages; Docket No. 71-9248 By this letter, Framatome Inc., per the provisions of 10 CFR 71.38, formally requests a five year renewal of Certificate of Compliance 9248 for the models SP-1, SP-2, and SP-3 packaging. The expiration date of the current certificate is April 30, 2019. No other changes are requested.
Please note that Framatome has a commercial need to support an international shipment scheduled for February 26, 2019. As part of this shipment, Framatome would like to remin.d the NRC of the*
additional time needed to obtain both a DOT Competent Authority Certification as well as a Taiwanese Certificate following receipt of the renewal.
