Monitoring will continue for a BRUNSWICK NAS Brunswick ME Sites 1/3 Landfill Y Ra-226, U-238 Cleanup & Capping few seasons to document that cleanup and capping were effective.
Radioluminescent circuit breaker and other small devices discovered during soil removal action. Additional cleanup planned once NOSSA approves remediation of comingled BRUNSWICK NAS Brunswick ME Site 7 Y Ra-226 Cleanup munitions. Planning to accomplish transects in 2019 to complete munitions and RAD assessment.
