Dear Members of the Board:

As part of the ongoing process of load forecasting,i Florida Power 6 Light Company again revised its load growth and demand forecast in the Fall of 1977. That revision,.in-volves small downward changes that are set forth in an up'-

dated "Fifteen-Year Forecast, Summer Peak Load," attached as Attachment 1. Updated reserve margin figures are set forth in a chart entitled "Projected System Reserve Margins, 1977-1986,"attached as Attachment 2. Corresponding=data projec-tions previously submitted to the Board based upon the Florida Power 6 Light updated forecast made in the Fall of 1976 may be found in Exhibit No. 5, Testimony of Richard P. Sergei (fol-lows Tr. 4899), and Exhibit No. 6, Testimony of Ernest L.

Bivans (follows Tr. 4896) .

We do not consider this updated forecast to be material to the Initial Decision of April 19, 1977., or the affirmance of that decision by the Appeal Board. (See, 5 NRC 1038, 1050-1053; ALAB-435, p.2, n.5, October 5, 1977.) Nevertheless, because Need for Power was an issue that was decided by the Licensing Board and its decision with respect to that issue was the subject of one of the exceptions which was considered by the Appeal Board, we previously informed the Boards and
