Subject: Combined Inspection 50-272/80-16 and 50-311/80-12
This refers to your letter dated September 19, 1980, in response to our
letter dated August 19, 1980.
Thank you for informing ~s of the corrective and preventive actions
documented in your letter. With respect to Item 2, we understand,.based
on a telephone conversation between Mr. C. P. Johnson of your staff and
the Senior Resident Inspector held on September 30, 1980, that additional
steps are being taken. These steps include the procedural confirmation that
isolation valves are open following completion of instrument and control cali-
brations and return to service. These actions will be-examined during a
subsequent inspection of your licensed program.
