NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE (EPID NO. L-2017-SPR-0024)
Duke Energy Florida, Inc. (DEF), et al., Docket No. 50-302, Crystal River Unit 3 Nuclear Generating Plant (CR-3), Citrus County, Florida Date of application for amendment: May 24, 2016, as supplemented March 8, 2017, and July 5, 2017.
Brief description of amendment: The amendment approves the CR-3 ISFSI Security, Training and Qualification, and Safeguards Contingency Plans.
Date of issuance: February 14, 2018 Effective date: As of the date Duke Energy Florida submits written notification that all spent nuclear fuel has been transferred from the spent fuel pool to the ISFSI, and shall be implemented within 120 days.
Amendment No.: 256. A publically-available version is in ADAMS under Accession No. ML18017A948.
Facility Operating License No. DPR-72: This amendment revises the License.
Date of initial notice in FEDERAL REGISTER: November 8, 2016 (81 FR 78664). The supplements provided clarifying information that did not change the scope of the original request.
