ANO Timeline for Remaining Key Milestones 1/3/18 Date Item Notes February 2018 Complete Quarterly CAL inspection and review two (of five) CAL areas for overall effectiveness This includes:

1. Inspection of the CAL items that ANO has completed and found effective

2. Closeout review of all Yellow findings

3. Overall effectiveness review of the CAL actions that address Corrective Action Program-related problems, including:

a. validation of metrics used for performance monitoring,

b. ISI/ ASME Repair &Replacement Program CAL item effectiveness review

c. PM Program CAL item effectiveness review March-April 2018 Refueling Outage ANO completes final CAL items and evaluates effectiveness.

April 2018 (approx.)

ANO submits letter stating that:

a. All CAL actions have been completed

b. An overall review for CAL actions concluded the objectives were met

c. Requests the NRC perform a final CAL closeout inspection Required element of the CAL. Must be submitted before final CAL inspection.

May 2018 (approx..)

Commence final CAL inspection This includes:

1. Closure of the final CAL items

2. Assessment of licensee-performed effectiveness reviews

3. Overall effectiveness review of the remaining CAL areas (Human Performance, Safety Culture, and Equipment Reliability/Engineering Programs)

Timeframe dependent on receipt of licensee effectiveness review letter June 2018 Complete final CAL inspection and exit with licensee Timeframe dependent on:

1. Ability of NRC staff to inspection and close all CAL items

2. Ability of NRC staff to reach effectiveness determination June-July 2018 Public Meeting Plan to combine the annual assessment meeting with a regulatory performance review meeting.

July 2018 Issue Final CAL inspection report To be issued after public meeting July 2018 Complete NRC communications to support CAL closure and follow-up assessment letter Needed communications involve:

1. NRR

2. OEDO

3. Commission

4. OPA

5. OCA

6. Government Liaison July 2018 Issue CAL closure letter and follow-up assessment letter Could be done in one or two letters. If final CAL inspection exit with licensee is held in June 2018, exit from Column IV could be effective June 30, 2018.
