For El Paso Electric Company, this will confirm Fred Miller's advice to you of even date that El Paso and Plains are presently engaged in discussions that the parties hope will lead to a mutually satisfactory resolution of the matters raised in the and El Paso therefore joins in Plains'Comments,"
that the Staff defer taking any action in respect Plains'equest of the Plains'Comments" while those discussions are ongoing. This will further confirm that duration of any deferral of Staff action in response to this request will not be relied upon by either party as an event that affects the procedural or substantive resolution of the Plains 'Comments. "
While we understand that the Plains'equest for deferral of Staff action has an end date attached to it, this request does not.
