AMENDMENTSTO FACILITYOPERATING LICENSE NPF-21, WPPSS NUCLEAR PROJECT NO. 2 During their regular meeting of May 27, 1986, the Washington State Energy Facility Site Evaluation Council reviewed and adopted motions indicating that the Council had no comments on the following requests for amendments to NRC's Operating License for the Washington Public Power Supply System's Nuclear Plant No. 2.

Supply System SUBJECT Re uest for Amendment to Technical S ecifications For:

January 17, 1986 February 26, 1986 March 28, 1986 Changes to Table 3.8.0.3-1 "Motor Operated Valves Thermal Overload Protection," to (1) delete valves which are not safety-related, and (2) add valves due to equipment qualification concerns; Reload License Amendment (Cycle 2) -Allowthe use of fuel assem-blies designed and manufactured by Exxon Nuclear Company for the Cycle 2 reload; Item 3(a)

Modify to extend the implementation date for Regulatory Guide 1.97, Revision 2, from prior to start up following the first refueling outage to prior to start up following the second refueling outage for the Suppression Pool Water Level Monitoring System.

In considering the March 28 request to extend the period for installing the wetwell level monitoring system, the Council found the one year extension to be acceptable, but made the 8606030147 860529 PDR ADOCK 05000397 P

The Council was notified of these amendment requests by the Supply System in accordance with the notification requirements of 10CFR 50.91.
