2 By "GO2-85-093, Requests Exemption from Reporting Future ESF Actuations Resulting from Chlorine Monitor Tape Depletion or Spurious Reactor Water Cleanup High Delta Flow,Per [[CFR" contains a listed "[" character as part of the property label and has therefore been classified as invalid.. Justification for Exemption Provided|letter dated February 20, 1985]], Washington Public Power Supply System (WPPSS) requested an exemption from the reporting requirements contained in 10 CFR 50.73 as allowable under 10 CFR 50.73(f).
Specifically, WPPSS's request for exemption is related to the requirement to report all manual and automatic actuations of any Engineered Safety Feature (ESF) System.
The staff has received similar requests for exemption from other licensees since these reporting requirements became effective on January 1, 1984.
In light of these requests for exemption and various licensee repor ts received, the staff is currently reevaluating the requirements set forth in 50 ~ 72 and 50. 73.
The Corrmi s sion currently plans to address your concerns on a generic basis as part of this reevaluation.
Upon completion of the staff 's reevaluation of the requirements in 50.72 and 50.73, WPPSS may resubmit its request if WPPSS concludes that the concerns delineated in the request for exemption have not been adequately addressed.
