- 1) regard-ing the status of our review of the subject exemption requests.
We have been informed that the Office of Analysis and Evaluation of Operational Data (AEOD) has been reviewing the subject exemption requests.
As discussed in our previous letter, Reference 2, the review was undertaken on a generic basis.
We have learned that the review was halted for a time because the review resources were applied to other'issues judged to be more urgent.
We understand that the urgent effort is nearing completion so that the generic reevaluation of the requirements established in 10 CFR 50.72 and 50.73 will recommence within the next few weeks.
We expect that the AEOD will establish a position sometime in 1987.
