Quickloc In-Core Instrumentation (ICI) Flange Design Modification

~

Replace Unit 1 Reactor Instrument Nozzle Penetration and Sealing System With ABB Designed Quickloc System. Duplicate to Unit 2 Installation.

~

Implementation WillReduce Time Requirements and Radiation Exposure By Reducing the Nozzle Flange Disassembly and Reassembly Complexity Thermo-Lag Reduction

~

Replace Containment Thermo-Lag radiant energy shield panels with 16 gage stainless steel sheet metal.

~

Reroute approximately 400 ft of essential circuits/cables to eliminate the need for reliance on Thermo-Lag fire barriers.

~

Replace the "B" Inverter Room Thermo-Lag walls and ceiling with a ceramic fiber/sheet metal structure. This structure consists of an inner and outer S.S.

sheet metal skin encapsulating 4" of ceramic fiber. Outage scope willentail the installation of the inner skin.
