SUBJECT:
INSTALLATION OF HARDENED WETWELL VENT - DRESDEN NUCLEAR POWER STATION, UNITS 2 AND 3 (TAC NOS. 74864 AND 74865)
By letters dated September 4, 1990 and September 17, 1990, Commonwealth Edison Company (CECo) committed to install hardened wetwell vents prior to January 1, 1993 on Dresden, Units 2 and 3.
As per the guidance in Generic Letter 89-16, installation of these hardened vents will be completed under the
. provisions of 10 CFR 50.59.
If you 1dentify any reason to reconsider your commitment to install these vents, or if your schedule for installation should change, the staff should be promptly notified, s i nee any change to your commitment must be approved by the NRC staff..
