By Reference 1, STP Nuclear Operating Company (STPNOC) submitted a License Renewal Application (LRA). In Reference 2, the NRC requested additional information for the review of the South Texas Project License Renewal Application. In Reference 3, STPNOC requested additional time for responding to the request for additional information (RAI) in Reference 2. In Reference 4, STPNOC submitted responses to the RAl's in Reference 2. The purpose of this letter is to correct Reference 3 listed in the cover letter of Reference 4, and replace STPNOC's response in Reference 4, with the revised qualifications methodology in regards to Reference 2, RAI question 2d.
The Enclosure to this letter contains the specific revision to the Reference 2, RAI question 2d.

Revised STPNOC Response:
Personnel conducting TOFD examinations and evaluating results are qualified in accordance with STPNOC Procedure OPEP10-ZA-0001 (Non Destructive Examination Written Practice).
This procedure prescribes\\the requirements for experience, training, education, examination, qualification and certification of personnel performing nondestructive examinations in accordance wi~h ANSl/ASNT CP-189 (ASNT Standard for Qualification and Certification of Nondestructive Testing Personnel) [1995]. The examination procedure requires an 80 hour9.259259e-4 days <br />0.0222 hours <br />1.322751e-4 weeks <br />3.044e-5 months <br /> TOFD training class, and demonstration of proficiency in the detection and sizing of selective leaching.
